Michael was born June 12, 1977, grew up in Montesano, Washington and graduated from Montesano High School in 1996.

He loved fishing, cooking and his family get-togethers.

Michael, also know as “Big Mike,” had a big heart and a giving spirit. Family was so important to him, and he was always reaching out to reconnect with family members and old friends.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Merilynn McClanahan, his sister Breanne McClanahan, his grandfather Bill Brumfield, his grandmother Gladys McClanahan, his life partner of 25 years Linda Gloria and her children Jolando and Nichole; grandchildren Rico Jr., Jennifer and Adelene.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Natalea Brumfield and his grandfather Robert McClanahan Sr.

Michael passed away peacefully at his home in Lacey, Washington. on May 24, 2022.

On Sunday, June 12, 2022, a celebration of life potluck will be held at the Montesano Moose Lodge 1210, 3 Monte-Elma road, Montesano,Washington from noon to 4 p.m.
