Charity golf tournament benefiting ALS announced

The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter in conjunction with Highland Golf Course has announced its 4th Annual Take a Hack Charity Golf Tournament scheduled for a 10 a.m. tee-off on Saturday, Aug. 6.

The four-person scramble team tournament costs $100 per person ($400 per team) and includes a silent auction/raffle, contest holes and a $5,000 pool for a hole-in-one.

Lunch will be served and cart rentals are available for $30 (call in advance).

Fifty-percent of the proceeds will be reserved for aiding Harbor ALS patients and their families.
