Strabbings celebrate Golden anniversary

Cosmopolis residents Ronald and Betty (Tjernberg) Strabbing recently celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary.

The couple was married Sept. 23, 1972, at the Aberdeen First United Methodist Church.

The couple met at Grays Harbor College while he was serving in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Pacific Beach.

Both Ronald and Betty worked for Grays Harbor County for over three decades — Betty in various departments as Ronald as the county treasurer.

They will celebrate their 50 years of marriage with a train trip through Canada.
