Marlene (Erickson) Munger died Feb. 12, 2023, in Shoreline, Washington.

She was born February 12, 1937, in Hoquiam, Washington to Harold Wilhelm Erickson and Mildred Bernice (Husby) Erickson. She graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1955 and married David Alden Munger at Saron Lutheran Church on September 21, 1957. Marlene is survived by her husband David, children Catherine Ann Russell (Paul), James David Munger, Karen Louise Munger, grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Russell Bauerle (Andy), Evan Joseph Russell (Ellen Fisher) and great-grandson Wolfram Robert Bauerle.

Marlene and Dave spent many years in their home in Shoreline, Washington as well as time in Hoquiam visiting friends and family. They also enjoyed summers at Lake Quinault.

A memorial service will be held April 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Saron Lutheran – First Presbyterian Church in Hoquiam. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial to Saron or the Polson Museum.
