Larry Martin Papac, age 56, passed away on March 9, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer at the VA Hospital in Seattle.
He was born in Aberdeen, Wash., on Aug. 14, 1960, son of Peter Papac and Betty (Bray) Papac. Larry was the youngest of six children; with three brothers, Steve, Mike and Phil and two sisters Patti and Sue.
Larry grew up in Montesano, Wash. and graduated from Montesano High School in 1978. He was 6’7 and many friends called him “Big Larry.”An all-star athlete who played baseball, basketball and football. In 1985 Larry enlisted in the Army was able to travel and see the world while serving his country. After leaving the Army Larry worked in the woods as a logger and fished for crabs in Alaska. Most recently Larry worked as a union mason worker.
Larry enjoyed gardening, working on cars, bluegrass music and spending time with his friends and family.
Larry is survived by his sons Martin Papac and Matthew Papac and his grandchildren Peyton and Natalie. Larry was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all.
