Longtime Elma resident Robin L. Moe passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Swedish Hospital Cherry Hill in Seattle. He was born May 15, 1957 in Shelton, Washington to Eugene and Frances (Blevins) Moe.

Robin was raised in Elma and worked as a shovel operator for 40-plus years with Green Diamond Resource Co. when he retired in 2020.

On March 23, 2012, Robin married Virginia Rich in South Bend, Washington; they were together for 26 years.

He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife Virginia Robin is also survived by two sons Corey Moe of Olympia and Travis (Betty) Moe of McCleary, a daughter Janelle Moe of Olympia, two brothers Jim and Gary Moe; two sisters Rhonda Sutherland of Centralia and Twyla Moe of Oakville; and three grandchildren: Corbin Moe, Natalihn Gordon and Tanner Moe.

A gathering will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 22 at the McCleary VFW.
