July 30, 2023, Ann Marie “Annie” Catterall, age 78, passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband Richard “Brian” Catterall at her side.

Ann Marie was born on Nov. 5, 1944, to Olvie Ray Bates and Jeannette Agnes Bates in Modesto, California.

Annie loved her husband and family dearly, and always tried to help others when she was able. She enjoyed a good book, gardening, cooking, music, Mexican food, a drink with close friends, and time spent with grandchildren. Annie never forgot a face, or a name, and those that knew her will never forget her smile or spirit.

Ann Marie was predeceased by her father, Olvie Ray Bates, mother Jeannette Agnes Bates, and her son Rhett Andrew Quinn.

She is survived by husband Richard “Brian” Catterall, her son Ron (Julia) Quinn, and grandchildren Rhett Quinn, Jennifer Quinn, Roneice’ (Colin) Vento, Stacia (Tom) Johnson and Mckayla (Steven) Maldonado and nine great-grandchildren.

Annie will be truly missed by her family and friends, time to make lemonade.
