Daisy Evelona Cummins, 74, went home to her heavenly father on March 15, 2017.
Daisy was born in Casper, Wyo., and later was raised with her sister and two brothers in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Daisy loved people and for many years of her life worked in the restaurant industry.
Later in life she married Boise Cummins and they made their home in Navasota, Texas. Daisy was a caregiver and her husband worked in the coffee industry. They had a farm and raised chicken and cows. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Boise and Daisy were married for 20 years and he passed away in 2006.
Daisy then moved to Hoquiam, Wash., to be closer to her younger brother and his family. She was involved with the Hoquiam Senior Center and made many good friends there. She loved to travel and go to the casino.
Daisy was proceeded in death by her parents Marion and Geraldine Muir, her husband Boise Cummins, her older sister Laveda Ebner and youngest brother Jinx Fowler. She is survived by her son Jimmy Crittenden, her brother William Muir and his wife Michele, and many nieces and nephews.
Per her request, there will be no services. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Wash.
