Scott was a lover of life and shared his passion for music, photography and art. He became interested in guitar at a very young age and at any gathering Scott would be playing his guitar and either singing his original songs or John Prine. He also didn’t go anywhere without his camera and loved spontaneous trips to the beach.

He built his own home and worked for the Port of Willapa Harbor for several years. He also worked as a Mason. Scott was an artist by nature and went on to study graphic arts at Centralia College. In 2005 he was the state wide winner of the Washington State graphic arts calendar competition with his artistic interpretation of Washington. He enjoyed painting, creating photoshop art and even hand carved signs out of wood for many businesses in Raymond.
