As of Monday, the Montesano location of Harbor Regional Health will begin offering walk-in services at the Family Medicine Clinic on Pioneer Street.
The clinic will be able to treat a number of minor injuries, from sprains, minor burns, small wounds, referrals to specialists, and others, according to news release from the hospital.
Hours for walk-ins will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the last patient accepted at 1:30 p.m. according to the news release.
“These walk-in hours are tailored to provide our community with immediate care options for non-emergency medical needs, ensuring timely and efficient access to quality healthcare services. Kim Patterson, ARNP, will lead the Montesano HRH Family Medicine walk-in services, with her knowledge and compassionate care for our patients,” reads the news release. “As we are able to hire more providers, we intend to expand hours at both Aberdeen and Montesano walk-in clinics.”
Aberdeen Prompt Care will trim its hours in response to this move, according to the news release, with the new hours set at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays. Last patients will be accepted at 1 p.m.
“This adjustment ensures that Harbor Regional Health can efficiently manage resources across both locations, continuing to offer prompt and effective care to our patients in Aberdeen while expanding services in Montesano,” reads the news release.
Accepted insurance is the same as other HRH facilities, according to the news release.
