FEMA has no funds, immigrants are being dumped in our cities

FEMA says it has no funds to help those who were victimized in the recent devastation caused by the hurricane.

Yet they’re bringing in plane loads of illegal aliens who were turned out of prisons south of our borders and dumped in our cities. No doubt directives from the White House. An excellent reason not to vote in Kamala Harris unless you like Bidenomics.

It’s time for change in the 19th District, vote for Coverdale over Walsh

Our communities in the 19th District are suffering both economically and socially.

We continue to have the highest or nearly highest unemployment in the state. Obtaining new healthcare providers has become nearly impossible and the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs is too expensive. Our county and cities are running on fumes economically and we need a change in leadership in the 19th District.

For the past eight years Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, has been paid to represent us and our area, but to what effect? During that time, he has enjoyed full healthcare coverage but what about us?

He claims to care about jobs but after four terms in office where are they? He claims to care about schools but after eight years how has he improved education in our district? The fact is the only success he has had is in climbing the political ladder and dividing our community not bringing it together.

Now he is the head of the state Republican party ( a well-paid position) and he now has responsibilities around the entire state and has lost his focus for his constituents. This allows even less time to pay attention to the needs and opportunities of the 19th District. Eight years is long enough to prove he could improve quality of life for the people of the 19th District and he has failed. Why give him two more? Walsh is good for rhetoric, but not results.

We need better representation. Mike Coverdale has a proven history of dedication to his community. He is grounded in his community, has a military background and 30 years running a small business. We need fewer partisan attacks in Olympia and more attention devoted to our district. Coverdale will work for all of the people in the district, not just a party and not just the wealthy. We need a change. Vote Mike Coverdale, 19th District.
