The Spellman Library Gallery at Grays Harbor College is hosting its annual Fall Art Gala.
The opening reception will be held Friday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
“The gala was carefully curated by our jurors to create a very fun, lighthearted show full of a ton of talent,” said Haley Adair, circulation manager in Grays Harbor College’s Spellman Library, where the art gallery is located. “I’m very excited for the community to come together and celebrate visual artists in Grays Harbor, and I’m honored to play the role that I play in making that happen.”
In total, 30 local artists contributed pieces to this year’s exhibit. Participating artists include Donn Angel, Jade Black, Joan Brewster, Suzan Campbell & Laveta Brown, Matthew Coyle, Sylvia Dickerson, Sandy Early, Arlene Eubanks, Margaret Heard, Ken Hunt, Melanie Israel, Britta Jackson, Jozette James, Mark James, Kelly Jones, Susan LaMadrid, Carrie Larson, Sue Lowatchie, Jennifer Marie, Joanna Matyska, Marcy Merrill, Ken Miller, Rich O’Donnell, Tracy Pittman, Craig Roffler, Cara Beth Stevenson, Jessica Vaughn, Larry Walden and Richard Woods.
The art exhibit can be viewed through Jan. 10 during regular library hours, which are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
