This holiday season, the Grays Harbor College baseball team gave back to the local community by donating over 250 turkeys to charities across Grays Harbor County in an effort to help many locals enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
The turkeys were delivered to several organizations, including Union Gospel Mission Grays Harbor, Hoquiam Food and Clothing Bank, St. Mary’s School and the McCleary community.
“We’re proud to be part of such a supportive community and happy to help provide meals during the holidays,” GHC baseball coach Austin Hogue said. “This is a small way for us to give back and we’re thankful for the opportunity to make a positive difference here in Grays Harbor.”
