DUPONT — Grays Harbor College’s Justin Cox finished strong on the second and final day of the NWAC Men’s Golf Championships to take fourth overall on Monday afternoon at the Home Course in Dupont.
Grays Harbor College’s men’s team was consistent on both days to take sixth overall with a composite 599 score. North Idaho CC won the men’s team title.
College of Spokane, with Hoquiam grad Kelci Parker in the lineup, won the women’s team title by nine strokes.
Cox finished with a 2-under 142 and shot a 2-under 70 on the final day to take fourth. Teammates Nick Betrozoff and Joe Blaser finished in the top-20 spot inside a six-man tie for 19th overall at 5-over 149.
Bellevue’s Isaac Hall on the NWAC men’s individual title with an 8-under 136.
Parker, along with Grays Harbor College’s Megan Gibson, finished in a tie for 25th overall at 32-over 176. Parker’s teammate, Megan Cysewski, won the NWAC individual title at 4-over 148.
