17th Annual Ocean Shores Razor Clam and Seafood Festival set for March 21-23
The 17th Annual Ocean Shores Razor Clam and Seafood Festival, presented by Quinault Beach Resort and Casino, is set for March 21-23 at the Ocean Shores Conventions Center located at 120 W Chance a La Mer NW in Ocean Shores. Admission is free.
The event plans to feature a clam chowder tasting contest, fresh whole Dungeness crab dinners sponsored by Quinault Pride Seafood, a food court, a Sunday Crab Benedict Brunch, a vendor village with 100 booths, live music, a giant European slide and a clam gun decorating contest. Tickets for the Brunch must be purchased in advance at osrazorclamfestival.org.
Festival-goers can purchase a Tasting Passport for the clam chowder tasting contest and vote for their favorite chowder in the People’s Choice category. As for the Dungeness crab dinners, tickets are $40 ($35 for active military and dependents) and half-crab dinners are $25. It is recommended that dinners be purchased in advance to guarantee availability.
The Food Court is planning to host a dozen food booths/trucks including Emily’s Ocean View Dining with local razor clams from Quinault Pride Seafood, Bennett’s Fish Shack, Perkins Family Oyster Farm, and more. Burgers, Russian dumplings, Teriyaki, Yakisoba, and desserts, including funnel cakes, will also be available. A full bar will be available at the Convention Center Main Stage.
The Vendor Village will include 100 booths featuring hand-made crafts, merchants, sponsors and nonprofits.
The Festival will also feature live music from SR 109, Raucous and Deer Swerver on Friday and Saturday.
The event is scheduled for Friday, March 21 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 23, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Eucharistic Miracles of the World on display in Hoquiam
The international exhibition The Eucharistic Miracles of the World is on display at the Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in the gym from March 8-23.
The church is located at 2nd and L streets in Hoquiam. The display is open from noon to 5 p.m. each day except Thursdays.
The exhibition presents a selection of the main Eucharistic Miracles — about 136 of them, which occurred over the centuries in various countries and are recognized by the church.

Virtual reality comes alive in Ocean Shores
Ocean Shores Friends of the Library hosts virtual reality on Saturday, March 15, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Experience virtual reality from experiences like a tour of the International Space Station, walking on the beach, or being in the middle of the action in a 360 degree video. Enjoy immersive games that allow you to fly a plane, or be a chef at a fancy restaurant.
Spots are limited for this 13 and over experience.
