Carrie McDonald, 93, a longtime Willapa Valley resident, died June 1, 2017, at the Raymond Care Center. She was born Feb. 23, 1924, at Cooperstown, N.D., to Deanna and Chris Knutson. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a bookkeeper for various businesses and was a secretary of the Grange, where she had been a member for many years. She is survived by her daughter Karen (John) Hodel of Raymond; two sons Leroy (Janice) McDonald of Raymond and Daniel McDonald of Raymond. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Nelson in 2013.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 8, at the Lebam Community Chapel in Lebam. The burial will take place at the Lebam Cemetery following the funeral.
