I write to endorse my former law partner Ray Kahler to be retained as our Grays Harbor County Superior Court Judge.

I have been practicing law here in Grays Harbor County now for 49 years, and 21 of those years I practiced law with Ray.

During that time I got to know him well, and saw his work as a lawyer and counselor to individual clients. He is extremely bright and knowledgeable in the law, important ingredients in a judge. He is compassionate and caring, qualities equally important in a judge. He is patient with litigants in his courtroom and has the demeanor and temperament necessary in a great judge.

While practicing law in our firm, Ray undertook the representation of the little guy, bringing lawsuits against governments and big corporations to assure that the rights of the individual were upheld and enforced. He has brought that background to the bench as he handles cases as a judge in our Superior Court.

Be sure to vote. And when you do, I hope you will vote to retain Judge Kahler as judge of the Grays Harbor County Superior Court.
