Philip has had a rough start in life. He and his siblings were brought to PAWS at about 11 weeks old. After showing symptoms of becoming ill, all the pups were treated for canine parvovirus — an often deadly virus. Fortunately, everyone has pulled through and is doing well. All of the pups are spoken for except little Philip.
Now 13 weeks old, Philip is becoming stronger and more rambunctious by the minute. this Akita/shepherd mix is quite the cuddler. He’s curious, playful and always hungry.
Philip is now accepting applications for adoption. Though he will have to finish his quarantine and medication regimen, his outlook is excellent.
As you can imagine, he’s accumulated some veterinary bills. Maybe you can’t take Philip into your home, but you’re wondering how you might be able to help? A donation to PAWS of Grays Harbor would be an excellent way to show your support. Let them know Philip sent you.
