The prized Hoquiam High School Class Heart award went to Brooke Bogdanovich at her senior class’ Class Day event last week.

Each year the senior class votes on their pick for the “sweetest, lovingest, nicest … just a good human being” of a classmate for the award, said Principal Brock Maxfield.

Bogdanovich embraced Maxfield as she collected her award, a red heart-shaped pillow with the award’s name, trailing strings of smaller hearts inscribed with her classmates’ names.
