Alyssa Weakley (Hulbert) graduated May 5 with a doctorate in clinical psychology (with specialty training in neuropsychology).

Alyssa Weakley (Hulbert) graduated May 5 from Washington State University with a doctorate in clinical psychology, with specialty training in neuropsychology.

Weakley, an Ocosta Jr./Sr. High School alum, is currently completing her residency in geropsychology and neuropsychology at the University of California-Los Angeles Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Behavior and Geffen School of Medicine. In September, she will begin a two-year neuropsychology fellowship at University of California-Davis Medical Center’s Department of Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center.

Weakley is the author of more than 10 research articles and book chapters and has presented at over 20 conferences on issues of cognitive aging and dementia.
