Eagle Scouts

4 new Eagle Scouts

Several local Scouts have earned the Eagle rank in the past two months:

• Twins Andrew and Evan Werner, now 18, passed their Eagle boards May 6. Both are members of Troop 4014. Their parents are Mike and Jill Werner of Elma.

Andrew spearheaded a mapping project at the Masonic Cemetery in Elma, and Evan established a First Responders Memorial.

• Two members of Troop 4007 passed their Eagle boards April 29.

Thomas Prosch, now 18, of Troop 4007, led a project involving trail abandonment and reclamation at Sylvia Creek. His mother is Richelle Prosch.

Nathan Iverson, now 18, oversaw the creation of a new trail in Montesano City Forest. His parents are Amy and David Iverson of Aberdeen.

Samuel Green, now 18, of Troop 4036, passed his Eagle board of review April 15. His service project was creating a bicycle repair station at the Willapa Hills Trailhead. His parents are Shane and Cheryl Green of South Bend.
