The Grays Harbor Music Teachers Association will present their annual Grays Harbor Musicale Scholarship Benefit Concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Aberdeen First Presbyterian Church, 420 North Broadway.
The Musicale is a 32-year Harbor tradition, a concert in which some of the area’s finest musicians donate their performances in order to raise money for the GHMTA’s scholarship fund. Thanks to the Musicale, the GHMTA has raised and distributed nearly $90,000 in scholarship funding to deserving Grays Harbor and Pacific counties music students. Two of those scholarship recipients, Emma Jeanne Dorsch and Sara Burkhart, will be among this year’s featured artists.
Admission is free and the public is cordially invited to attend. A free will offering will be collected at intermission for the scholarship fund. A dessert reception will follow the performance.
