Kittens: They’re a thing!
PAWS of Grays Harbor is in the thick of it with the kitten thing. You want a gray kitten? They’ve got gray kittens. You want a tabby? They’ve got tabbies. You want a purple cat? Don’t push it, now. But there’s a variety. Go have a look-see.
It’s still spring for a couple more days, which means PAWS isn’t the only kitten outlet around these parts. HAVA maintains a consistent stock as well. Both places have wonderful cat facilities with visiting hours. Stop by and play with some kittens with absolutely no obligation to adopt.
PAWS is at 800 W. First St. in Aberdeen. They are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m.
You can also visit PAWS online at www.pawsgh.org, find them on Facebook or call 360-533-1141. Adopters who are 55 and older receive a 20 percent discount on adoption fees.
HAVA (the Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals) is located at 431 Second St. in Raymond. It’s open only on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 360-942-4716, visit www.hava-heart.org or find them on Facebook.
