Professional fine art photographer Marguerite Garth of North Cove was recently recognized in the International Color Awards, a prestigious international program honoring color photography.

She received an honorable mention for her piece titled “The Forsaken.” It was one of 7,241 entries from 79 countries.

Garth has won over 30 international photography awards in the past decade and has been featured in numerous art magazines. A collection of her works will be on display at the Vashon Center for the Arts in April.

“I would love my local community to come out to see the show,” she said. “The gallery and location are gorgeous!”
