The Polson Museum has decked the halls for its annual Christmas Open House this Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Refreshments will be provided. Requested admission is a can of food for the Hoquiam food bank.
In addition to its permanent displays, the museum is offering a temporary exhibit titled “Spruce, Foxglove & Motorships: Grays Harbor and the Great War,” which details the Harbor’s unique contributions toward winning World War I.
The open house also will be one of the final opportunities for patrons to pick up Red Car Raffle tickets. Twenty dollars buys a chance to win a 2018 Redline Tri-Coat Dodge Challenger. Only 3,000 tickets are sold, and the museum pays sales tax, license and title transfer to the winner.
Second prize is a fireproof gun safe, and third prize is a special gift basket and $200 gift certificate from the Westport Winery.
The raffle is the Polson’s biggest annual fundraiser. The drawing will be held Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Polson. Ticket holders need not be present to win.
