The Quinault Indian Nation held its annual General Council meeting last weekend. Officers were elected to the Business Committee, which is the governing body for the Nation. The newly elected officers took their oath of office on Tuesday from tribal court Judge Francis Rosander. Guy Capoeman was elected as the new president. After 15 years as president, Fawn Sharp was elected as vice president.
