Recess Monkey will be performing on the stage at the Raymond Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 2.
The group is made of a nationally acclaimed trio of teachers from Seattle — Jack Forman (vocals, bass), Drew Holloway (lead vocals, guitar) and Korum Bischoff (drummer) – who make smart rock and pop music for kids and families. Their music highlights the richness of life beyond batteries: Grandpa’s wisdom, board games, singing with others, storytelling and the fine art of duct tape.
The show, sponsored by Sunday Afternoon Live for Youth, is suitable for all ages. The performance begins at 2 p.m. at the theater, located at 323 Third Street in Raymond. Tickets are $5 at the door. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
