An offshore earthquake struck off the coast of south-central Oregon last night.
The epicenter was over 150 miles off the coast of Coos Bay, Oregon, and produced a magnitude 6.2 earthquake, according to U.S. Geological Survey reports. It occurred just after 2:30 a.m. West Coast time.
There was no tsunami warning issued by the National Weather Service following the earthquake. The quake was located at a depth of 6 miles below the Earth’s surface.
