Daily World reader Richard Walker took this photo last week of the nesting platform in Armstrong Bay at Damon Point.
It wasn’t until he got home, transferred the picture onto his computer and zoomed in a bit that he noticed what looks like a Gumby figurine standing next to the cormorant.
So the questions he has are who did it and how, and even more important, why?
But upon closer examination, there’s some disagreement in The Daily World newsroom. Maybe it’s not Gumby at all. Maybe it’s actually Groot, a character from “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
