Sean Eastham, a Pacific County Sheriff’s deputy, has announced his candidacy for the sheriff’s position, running as a Republican.
The formal filing period for political offices begins next month.
“After over 20 years in law enforcement, twelve of which as a Pacific County Deputy Sheriff. I have the experience and strategy to create needed improvements in our Sheriff’s Office,” he said.
A Naselle High School graduate, Eastham began his law enforcement career in 1995 with the City of South Bend as a Reserve Officer. He also worked for the City of Camas as a police officer and began with Pacific County in 2006 as a Deputy.
His uncle, Dave Eastham, is currently the South Bend police chief.
Eastham holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and is a substitute teacher for Naselle and South Bend School Districts.
