Scouts give cops cookies

Thursday evening an Aberdeen Police detective was in the station’s lot when a van carrying Girl Scout cookies from the local troop pulled in. “They were dropping cookies off at the Aberdeen and Hoquiam police and fire stations,” according to Aberdeen Police Lieutenant Kevin Darst. “We just want to thank them, and from everyone here at the Aberdeen Police Department, Happy Holidays and please be safe.”
