Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home’s life-size Nativity scene returned on Friday.

After a year’s absence, the outdoor Nativity is an all-new display with the baby Jesus in the manger, surrounded by Mary, Joseph, shepherds and various animals.

The previous display had been in use for nearly 40 years. But wind and rain took their toll, and those elements had to be retired.

The new, brightly colored figures, manger and building may be viewed through Jan. 2 at 2208 Roosevelt St. in Aberdeen.
