Grays Harbor County continues to hover near the top of Washington’s seasonably unemployed list as 8.5 percent of its workforce went without a job in the month of October.
Current figures released from the Washington State Employment Security Department show a slight up-tic from the 8.2 percent rate reported in September. Nearby Pacific County unemployment rate jumped from 7.7 to 8 percent in the same time period.
Washington gained 10,600 jobs in October, which contributed to the state-wide unemployment rate dropping to 5.4 percent.
