COVID-19 positive test results top 300

The COVID-19 case count has broken 300 in Grays Harbor County.

Grays Harbor Public Health numbers updated for the first time since Friday show 25 new cases as of Tuesday, bringing the total to 304. Public Health lists 173 active contact investigations underway, with 56 new contacts Tuesday. A total of 23 cases have been attributed to September. The number of active cases, either in isolation or quarantined, was 54 Tuesday. State Department of Health data last updated Sunday has 23 COVID-19-related hospitalizations in the county and shows the county has conducted 7,048 tests since the pandemic began. The death total stands at six with no new deaths reported so far in September.
