Hit and run injury suspect sought

Man left the scene unaware of injured pedestrian

Aberdeen Police are looking for the driver of a pickup that left the scene after injuring a pedestrian April 28 at the Aberdeen Tractor Supply Store.

The vehicle is described as a late 1980s Mazda or Courier two-wheel-drive pickup, dark in color or possibly tan and dirty. The truck’s canopy has doors on the sides that open downward rather than windows, and it’s believed the truck has mud flaps. According to the report, the driver of the vehicle said he lived at the beach, possibly Ocean City.

Anyone with information on this vehicle or the driver is encouraged to contact Sgt. Ross Lampky at the Aberdeen Police Department, (360) 580-3180, and reference case number 17-A08996.
