Hoquiam City Hall reopens Monday, with safety restrictions

Hoquiam City Hall will re-open to the public Monday following Grays Harbor’s qualification for Phase 3 of Gov. Jay Inslee’s plan to resume more routine life around the state.

Protective measures and signage will be in place for social distancing the sake of the staff and public.

Citizens will be strongly encouraged to wear a face mask when entering City Hall. Employees who are not behind a protective shield are required to wear face masks.

The city is encouraging people to conduct city business by telephone, e-mail or through the website, https://cityofhoquiam.com/ if possible. Those who need a building permit and require in person assistance, schedule an appointment as staff may be out on inspections or unavailable.

The Hoquiam City Council meeting scheduled for Monday June 22 at 7 p.m. will still happen by Zoom and will not be conducted as an in-person meeting.
