Hoquiam High School presents ‘The Addams Family’ at 7th Street

Hoquiam High School’s presentation of “The Addams Family” opens this week at the 7th Street Theatre in Hoquiam.

Performances are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and matinees at 1:30 Saturday and Sunday.

“This is the kindest, most respectful, most resilient cast/crew that I’ve ever directed,” said director Tamara Helland. “In the past few weeks, their drive and focus to do their best has to been on constant display. They cheer for each other, they push one another to a higher level, and they are constantly supporting all those involved to achieve their best. As a director, there is no greater joy than watching young actors grow into their individual characters. This is what HHS Drama can be — a place where all are welcome, respected, valued, and where HHS students thrive as we experience the lessons that only theater can teach.”

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors/$15 for adults and will be available at the door.
