Hoquiam Special Services will offer Child Find screening Aug. 29, 30 and 31, to determine if a child may need special education services.

Parents who feel their child, ages 3 to 5, may have a learning, speech, physical or behavior problem should call the Special Services office at 360-538-8290 for more information or an appointment.

If your child is between 5 and 21 years old and you feel that he/she may have a disability, you can request an evaluation from the school district. An evaluation will give you specific information about the strengths and weaknesses and could result in specialized instruction or assistance to help him/her succeed in school.
