Justin R. Hansen of Hoquiam’s Boy Scout Troop 100 recently passed his Eagle Scout board of review.

Hansen, a senior at Hoquiam High School and GHC Running Start student, is the son of Christina and Robert Hansen of Hoquiam. His current Scoutmaster is Tifanie Kelly, and his Eagle advisor and original Scoutmaster was Rick Strom.

His Eagle project, which totaled nearly 150 service hours, was the creation and documentation of the city of Hoquiam’s entire tree inventory for the Urban Forestry Board, helping to maintain Hoquiam’s Tree City USA status for the 14th year.
