A Corvette versus semi collision blocked SR12 in Oakville for two hours early Thursday morning.

David A. Holbrook, 62, of Montesano, was travelling westbound on SR12 in a 1996 Chevrolet Corvette when Jeremy D. Holbrook 37, of Tenino, who was driving a 2008 Western Star tractor trailer, turned left onto the eastbound lanes of the highway from Park Street.

According to Washington State Patrol, the Corvette struck the semi and was totalled. The driver of the Corvette was transported to Providence Medical for his injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. No alcohol or drugs were involved in the collision. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
