The Grays Harbor Coroner’s Office has released the name of a man killed after being involved as a pedestrian in a motor vehicle crash last week near Ocean Shores.

Ronald D.M. Nelson, 33, of Aberdeen, was struck and killed by a Grays Harbor Transit bus on Oct. 10, said Coroner George Kelley in a news release.

The crash occurred on state Route 115, near the entrance to Ocean Beach State Park, around 7 a.m., The Daily World previously reported, shutting down the highway for several hours. The Washington State Patrol is investigating the fatal incident, Kelley said.
