Ocean Pours Taproom makes Grays Harbor Youth Works its nonprofit of the month

Ocean Pours Taproom in Ocean Shores announced it’s making Grays Harbor Youth Works its nonprofit of the month.

That means a portion of the money from purchases made at the taproom during the month of July will benefit Grays Harbor Youth Works, an organization that sets up internships for kids across the county.

“This is an awesome opportunity for the community and visitors to help support the youth to experience their career pathways in internships,” said Youth Works Executive Director Cheryl Brown.

Grays Harbor Youth Works is a nonprofit that facilitates career-connected learning experiences with local businesses for youth age 15-19 from all 15 school districts in the county. Internships offer the student 20% job shadowing and 80% direct work experience within their chosen career clusters. The program provides students with resume building skills, networking, possible employment opportunities, and the confidence to shape their own futures.
