An 82-year-old Ocean Shores woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on State Route 109 just north of Hoquiam on Tuesday.

The woman was southbound near milepost 5, just north of Valley Road, around 11 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and was pinned between two trees, according to a State Patrol report.

The woman was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries. The State Patrol report listed a charge of second-degree negligent driving. The northbound lane was closed for about two hours after the wreck, according to the Department of Transportation.
