A semi truck crash on Highway 101 in Pacific County sent one person to the hospital Monday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
According to the State Patrol report, a 30-year-old Ellensburg man was driving southbound about 3 miles north of Long Beach shortly after 6 a.m. when his Peterbilt tractor/trailer left the roadway to the right, entered a ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its side in the ditch. The driver was taken to Ocean Beach Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The tractor/trailer was totaled, according to the report, which lists distracted driving as the cause of the crash.
