The Port of Grays Harbor has hired Brian Fry as the new Marine Terminal Superintendent.
Fry brings more than a decade of stevedoring operations and marine terminal management, as well as a 15-year military background in both the Navy and Army National Guard.
“We are excited to have Brian join the Port team with his extensive experience and knowledge of the Port and our marine terminal operations,” said Executive Director Leonard Barnes. “We are confident he will hit the ground running and be an excellent addition to our team as we embark on an era of unprecedented growth.”
Fry will be responsible for managing the Port’s bulk loading facilities and marine cargo operations at the Port terminals including supervision, vessel loading, train movements, labor forces and bulk facility maintenance. He will begin his position with the Port on April 1.
Founded in 1911, the Port of Grays Harbor is one of Washington State’s oldest port districts and Washington’s only deep-water port located directly on the Pacific Ocean.
The Port of Grays Harbor operates 4 deep-water marine terminals, the Westport Marina, Bowerman Airport, Grays Harbor Pilotage Services, numerous public waterfront access facilities, and industrial and business parks throughout the county.
