Nationally renowned rapper Macklemore will perform to a sold-out crowd at Hoquiam’s 7th Street Theater Monday night.

Word of the concert created pandemonium on social media after it was announced Macklemore would be making a stop in Hoquiam with Ryan Lewis.

Macklemore is from Seattle. He and Lewis garnered national success with his album “The Heist” released in 2012. His song “Thrift Shop” reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 2013.

Doors open at 8 p.m. on the 29th, with the show scheduled to start at 9. Theater manager Jamie Brand said Macklemore will sign autographs out front of the facility at 6 p.m.
