As early as Wednesday, State Department of Transportation maintenance crews were to begin removing debris along State Route 109, north of Moclips Highway, from a slide earlier slide this year.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday through Tuesday, May 21, crews will remove roadside debris under the current configuration of one-way, alternating traffic controlled by a temporary signal. Crews will work to scrape mud off the roadway, re-establish the ditch line and relocate the jersey barrier off the fog line. Drivers will encounter one-way alternating traffic with flaggers during repairs.
The work is weather sensitive and could be rescheduled. Construction updates can be found on the Department of Transportation mobile app, wsdot.wa.gov/Inform/mobile.htm, and online at wsdot.wa.gov
