Another 930 primary election ballots were counted in Grays Harbor County Thursday, with little change in the positions of the candidates from the first count Tuesday.
Incumbent mayors Jasmine Dickhoff in Hoquiam and Crystal Dingler in Ocean Shores continue to trail challengers Ben Winkelman and Susan Conniry, respectively, but will easily make it to the general election to face their challengers in November. In Aberdeen, incumbent Mayor Erik Larson stands atop the four-candidate list, and will face longtime City Councilman Pete Schave in the general election

Voter turnout edged up to 23.35% Thursday, with 9,524 ballots counted in Grays Harbor County. There are 40,796 registered voters in the county. The next count will be Friday by 5 p.m. The next Pacific County count isn’t scheduled until Aug. 19, the evening before the election is to be certified.
