Sheriff’s Office asks assistance in locating shooting suspect

The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Brandon J. Merrill (AKA Brandon Musto) Merrill, 47, is described as 5’8” tall, weighing 175 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes. He is being sought for investigation of first-degree assault after a recent altercation with his brother.

A news release from the Sheriff’s Office states that on Tuesday, Merrill was involved in an altercation with his brother in the Neilton area. It was reported that Merrill shot his brother with a rifle before fleeing the scene in his brother’s vehicle, described as a red 2003 Hyundai Tiberon bearing Washington license BYZ4244.
