The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of a small excavator stolen from the Elma area late last month.
The excavator, a Kubota U35-4, was stolen on the afternoon of Sept. 29, said Undersheriff Kevin Schrader. Three men were seen on a game camera stealing it.
“Originally the theft had occurred from a residence or property in the area of Neals Lane,” Schrader said in an interview. “It was stolen from a nearby location and stashed in the brush.”
The estimated value of the excavator is more than $30,000, Schrader said.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the equipment or about the individuals suspected of stealing it are asked by the sheriff’s office to contact Detective Ken Denny at 360-964-1767 or Kdenny@graysharbor.us
